Hi there! It’s new feature announcement time, and we’ve got something exciting to share with you.
You must already be familiar with TeamPal's tasks—specific actions designed for your agents to perform. In technical terms, tasks are optimized prompt templates with required inputs, crafted to enhance AI output. These can range from answering customer questions, generating reports, and suggesting best practices to scheduling meetings.
However, these tasks are typically provided as a default list for each agent.
Now, with the introduction of Custom Tasks, you take control!
This new feature allows you to create tasks tailored to your unique needs and workflow, giving you the flexibility to design specific processes for yourself. Not only does it enhance your interaction with the AI assistant, but it also helps you save time, especially when automating routine or repetitive tasks.
How to Access Custom Tasks
You can access this feature:

From the sidebar: Navigate easily using the toolbar.

In the Task tab: Found under Agent Configuration.
How It Works
1. Click Create to start building your custom task.
2. Preview your task before saving it—you’re in charge every step of the way!
3. Once satisfied, simply hit Create New, and you’re all set!
Your newly created task will be ready to go, and you can immediately select it and start interacting with the AI assistant. Just choose the task from the list, and let the agent handle it for you.
